CAPS  – sun – antioxidants

For increased antioxidants requirements

This targeted nutritional supplement includes ingredients drawn from traditional Chinese, European and Indian (Ayurvedic) medicine, to harness the most effective and potent active natural ingredients discovered and recognised over the centuries as having a beneficial effect on the  body’s system, vitality and wellness.  CAPS sun is the innovative nutrient cocktail from extracts of tagetes blossoms5, chestnut rose6, red grapes7 and Polypodium leucotomos8, and thus the ideal companion for sun worshippers and smokers. It reactivates the skin’s natural cleaning process and gives it a healthy touch so that sun and nicotine do not reduce the beauty of the skin and it is protected from free radicals1,2 and premature aging3,4.

High-dosage antioxidants

Free radicals are the enemies of our body’s cells. Their aggressive behaviour leads to premature cell aging, and especially make the skin look older than it is. Factors such as UV light, ozone, cigarette smoke, air pollution, and metabolic processes lead to an increased formation of free radicals. These aggressors have names such as superoxidanion radical, hydroxyl radical, singlet oxygen and hydrogen peroxide. With a unique formulation of high-dosage antioxidant materials, CAPS sun supports the body in the fight against free radicals. Besides antioxidants, the body’s own enzymes are the most important substances that render free radicals harmless. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) has special significance.

Patented melon extract

CAPS sun contain the patented melon extract with an especially high SOD content. This extract contains additional highly effective antioxidants, such as enzyme catalase, trace elements, co-enzyme Q!0, and carotene, in a synergetic mixture. Its UV protective effects have been confirmed by studies.

Vitamin E

Tocotrienols are closely related to tocopherolene, known as vitamin E, but have a much greater antioxidant effect. Measurements show that the vitamin E content of the skin drops dramatically under the effect of UV light. Vitamin E is consumed in an attempt to render harmless the free radicals that are caused by UV radiation.

Tocotrienols

Due to their formulation, tocotrienols protect the skin from sun-related damage up to 70 times more effectively than typical vitamin E.

Astaxanthin

Astaxanthin is a red-orange carotenoid that gives some algae their characteristic colour. It is considered to be most effective antioxiodant of its type. It can, for example, neutralise 550 times as much singlet oxygen as vitamin E.

L-tyrosine

L-tyrosine is the pre-stage for the brown skin substance melanin. A study has shown that this active agent can increase the synthesis of melanin.

Preservative Free

Vegan, cruelty free, pregnancy, and diabetic safe. Free from chemical preservatives, GM raw materials, allergens, wheat, diary, gelatine, gluten, yeast, synthetic chemicals, fragrances, additives, fillers, colorants, soy, flavour enhancers.
